About Us
What happens at Easy Street ?
With the help of Misericordia Health Centre Occupational or Physical Therapists, clients may practice a variety of independent living skills by interacting with obstacles that could be found on any community street. A few of the obstacles on Easy Street include:
- a real car & Domo gas pump
- a TD Canada Trust Bank
- a putting green
- a restaraunt
- a Safeway grocery store
- curbs
- doorways
- different floor surfaces
- a bus
Therapists assist clients to achieve the physical, emotional and social adjustments necessary for a productive, independent life after recovery. Clients may also see a Social worker, Dietitian or Speech Therapist as needed.
