TV Services
Televisions with complete cable service can be rented for use on interim care units only. Cable service or antenna hook-up is available for residents of Misericordia Place Personal Care Home who supply their own televison. For more information on TV services, including rates, call Finance at (204) 788-8295.
Telephone Service
Private telephones can be obtained by calling Manitoba Telephone System at 1-800-688-6499. You wll be charged an installation fee and will be responsible for your monthly billing.
Newspapers
Daily delivery of the Winnipeg Free Press is available free of charge to residents of Misericordia Health Centre and Misericordia Place Personal Care Home. This program is funded by Volunteer Ventures and the paper is delivered by MHC volunteers. To receive the paper call ext. #8131.
Mail Delivery
Incoming mail is delivered to interim care residents by Volunteer Services. Please inform your family and friends to address your mail as follows:

Outgoing mail with postage can be deposited in the Canada Post mail boxes located outside of the Furby street entrance of Misericordia Place or, for Interim Care, at the Sherbrook Street entrance of Misericordia Health Centre.
Stamps are sold in The Shop in Misericordia Health Centre or at the reception desk at Misericordia Place.
